Vanilla Maple Fruit Dip

Summer is one of my favorite seasons to entertain, and I always like to leave my guests with a sweet memory, but firing up the oven to bake something is tough to justify when the AC is going full blast.

Great summer fruit doesn't need any embellishing, but putting in a bit of extra effort can turn ordinary fruit into a decadent dessert worthy of a summer dinner party. This easy Vanilla Maple Fruit Dip leverages the contrast of rich yet tangy sour cream, infusing it with the sweet floral aroma of vanilla and earthy maple syrup. The result is a dip that turns each morsel of fruit into a luxurious treat!

I recommend using full-fat sour cream or crème fraîche for the best results, but strained yogurt works well if you're looking for a lower-fat alternative. I like combining maple syrup with a little extra sugar to provide the perfect sweetness while retaining the thick texture of the sour cream.

Serve this chilled with an array of fresh fruits, such as raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, or kiwi, and watch it become the star of your summer gatherings.
